Maplewood of Marshall Staff

What differentiates one assisted living community from another? The answer is... the people who work and reside there! The people set the tone, the atmosphere, and the expectations. At Maplewood of Marshall, we take great pride to ensure that everyone feels like part of our family, and that they are treated as special "guests" in our home.

Maplewood of Marshall employs a team of highly qualified medical professionals, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Personal Service Assistants. Our on-site contracted Rehab, Dietary, and Maplewood Activities departments provide personalized and compassionate care to each guest. From the moment you walk through the front doors, the warmth and caring of the staff will begin to gain your trust and confidence, as they strive to exceed your expectations.

Each Team Member takes great pride in portraying "The Laurel Way" of caring, as they strive for excellence in providing only the highest standard of care and services to every guest, and to every family member and visitor. Come on in! Visit a while! Let us show you our very best... let us show you The Laurel Way.

John Walbeck, Director of Maintenance

John Walbeck has been the Director of Maintenance since 2005. He came to the building to help Jane out for a few days and still remains. It is his desire to keep busy that keeps him coming back. He retired from Eatons after 33 years and just couldn't sit at home. The guests give him many things to do. If you were to ask John why he was still at Maplewood of Marshall he would say, "It keeps me busy and I like the people I work with."
